While making a non-urgent transfer to Coffs Harbour Health Campus with an infant child, the mother and a fellow paramedic on Saturday, the driver of an ambulance veered to the left to avoid debris on the roadway.

The driver appears to have lost control on the Pacific Highway, Nambucca Heads, when the left hand side wheels dipped into a storm water gutter, causing the ambulance to collide with a wire safety barrier and spinning before coming to rest facing south in the north bound break down lane.
No one was injured however the first northbound lane was closed while police conducted enquiries and the ambulance was recovered.
The patient was transported via another ambulance.
Drugs found on driver
Police stopped a vehicle along Giinagay Way, Macksville on Saturday night after the occupants were observed acting suspiciously.
The 37-yr-old female driver was issued a court attendance notice after a quantity of methylamphetamine was seized and checks revealed her driver's license was currently disqualified.
She will appear before Macksville Local Court on Sept 19.
A 33-yr-old female passenger will receive a court attendance notice after a quantity of cannabis was seized - court date yet to be fixed.
Police pursuit ends in arrest
Following a short pursuit on in the early hours of Sunday, p`olice stopped a vehicle along South Arm Rd, Bowraville.
The 25-yr-old male driver was arrested at the scene while enquiries were made. Checks revealed the vehicle was unregistered and the accused man's drivers licence was currently suspended.
He was released after searches revealed nothing of note and told he would receive a court attendance notice for a number of traffic offences. He will appear before Macksville Local Court on October 10.
Breach of AVO
Police arrested a 34-year-old woman at a Nambucca Heads address on Tuesday for breaching an AVO. The accused was charged at Macksville Police Station and released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on September 12.
Police escort from pub
On Saturday evening police were called to escort a 36-yr-old man from a licensed premises in Nambucca Heads after he refused a direction by staff to leave. The man was issued an infringement notice for the offence.
Domestic violence arrest
A 41-year-old man was arrested at a Bowraville residence on Friday afternoon following a domestic violence incident. The man was charged at Macksville Police Station for breaching an AVO and intimidation.
He was refused bail and appeared before Kempsey Local Court on on Saturday where he was sentenced with a 12-month Community Correction Order.
