Medlow School, tucked up the valley at Upper Taylors Arm, was successful in acquiring a $500 Landcare grant earlier this year, so last week students spent a couple of hours helping improve an area of land near the Taylors Arm Oval.

With assistance from Tom and Logan from Landcare and Alex from Working Options, students identified and removed weeds, looked for frogs, re-staked recently planted eucalypts and rainforest species.
It was so good to hear all the little conversations about habitats, the environment, topography and the effects of extreme weather.
It was outdoor education at its best!
