The traffic lights were removed a few months ago, and you've been able to freely drive over the new concrete structure in both directions for a while, but next Tuesday the new-and-improved Lanes Bridge will get its due pomp and circumstance.

Cowper MP Pat Conaghan will make his way to Bowraville to cut the ribbon and say a few words, alongside mayor Rhonda Hoban.
The opening starts at 10.30am sharp.
Motorists should be advised there will be disruptions to traffic for half an hour either side of the opening - and possibly a road closure for some of that time.
From the platform of the new concrete expanse you can still see half of the old wooden bridge which it replaced.
Council general manager Michael Coulter said micro bats were found nesting in the structure; the remnants of the bridge will be removed once and for all after their breeding season ends.
He also said the Bowraville Chamber of Commerce is currently hatching plans for the old bridge timber, which could potentially be turned into a wooden sculpture, enshrining the history of the river crossing for years to come.
