It was the very beginning of the successful local country music club of today.
Twenty-three years on and the country music club of 2019 is still expanding with end of month 'walk-up artist' concert days attracting even larger audiences at each event.
The concert day venue is in Nambucca Heads Bowling Club, where artists perform up on the big main stage in the auditorium.
Special guest artist for the next concert day on Sunday, August 25 is talented drummer, guitarist and country singer Earl Kyle from Kempsey.
Concerts are presented by the many volunteer members of the Nambucca Valley Country Music Club, which includes a talented five-piece country music band.
