August's live event
On Friday, August 16 from 6pm to 8pm, 2NVR will welcome James Bennett to the studio.
James incorporates many different elements into his performances including Weissenborn Lap Steel, 11 and six string guitars, stomp box, foot tambourine, harmonica and a very unique vocal style.
With lyrical influences from Bob Dylan and Paul Kelly, a guitar-style inspired by John Butler and Xavier Rudd, a James-Bennett-performance is the ultimate blend of these artists.
James has played support for The John Butler Trio, Diesel, Jeff lang, The Whitlams, Wendy Matthews, Ian Moss, The Black Sorrows, Vika and Linda Bull, Rick Price and Dan Sultan, Newton Faulkner and Canned Heat.
