Other council news:
In a report to the council on July 25, Council's Engineering Department staff said work on Lanes Bridge at Bowraville was close to completion with the bridge structure and road approaches to both sides now constructed, making the bridge fully accessible to traffic.
The only works still to be completed are the management of the micro-bat colony before the existing bridge can be demolished. Remediation of the river banks is also still a work on progress.
