Celebrating the annual survey's 18th birthday this year, the charity is seeking a record number of young people to come to the party and have a say in Youth Survey 2019.
With more than 28,000 young people participating in 2018, including 8,211 from NSW, Mission Australia aims to reach 30,000 participants in celebration of the milestone.
With more participation the charity can provide a broader overview of the issues that are important to the health, mental health and wellbeing of young people across the country.
The survey results will be released in November and will be used to advocate on behalf of young people.
This year's Youth Survey also includes some new questions asking for young people's thoughts around bullying, disability and whether young people feel they have enough of a say about the issues that affect them.
Each year, the Youth Survey provides a valuable snapshot of young Australians and offers important insights that are useful when speaking with government decision makers.
Mission Australia Regional Leader Craig Westall encourages young people take part in Australia's largest annual nationwide poll of young people.
"Understanding the views of our young people is invaluable. The Youth Survey is an annual temperature check to find out what's happening in young people's lives, giving organisations like Mission Australia current evidence so that we can advocate on behalf of young people for the policy changes and programs that they need, and that are proven to work," Mr Westall said.
The more young people who get involved and who add their voice, the more inclusive, insightful and representative of the broader youth community the results will be.

In 2018 45.3 per cent of NSW young people identified mental health as the top issue facing Australia today - up from 38%per cent the previous year and doubling since 2016.
Young people in NSW identified mental health as the top national issue at a higher rate than any other State or Territory.
The top three issues identified by young people from NSW were mental health (45.3%), alcohol and drugs (26.1%) and equity and discrimination (22.2%).
