Here's a look back at that year's Nambucca River Festival.
It was beautiful while it lasted, wasn't it?
NIGHTTIME festivities at the 2014 Nambucca River Festival were extremely well-received with Valley residents attending in droves.
The lanterns again were a huge hit, with a brief change in the schedule to honour our very own Phil Hughes.
While the lanterns circled the Nambucca River a beautiful piece was read by resident Errol Noble, a minutes' silence was held and a lone piper played a lament.
The night finished with a huge display of fireworks.
