Police arrested a 45-year-old man on Thursday following investigations related to the alleged assault of a 52-year-old man in Bowraville the previous day.

The older man sustained head injures as a result of the incident. The younger man was informed he would be receiving a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on August 8.
Over the limit
A 21-year-old man was arrested by police in the early hours of Saturday morning on Giinagay Way, Nambucca Heads after he returned a positive RBT.
The driver underwent a breath analysis at Nambucca Heads Police Station and returned a low range PCA of 0.053. Checks also revealed he did not hold a current drivers licence.
He was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on July 18.
Arrests at train station
A 34-year-old man was arrested on June 19 at the Nambucca Heads train station for an outstanding warrant. His 27-year-old female companion was also arrested for breaching an AVO.
Both were charged at Macksville Police Station. The man is currently on bail to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on August 27 and the woman is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court tomorrow (Thursday).
Pot plants seized
Police seized 19 cannabis plants growing in small pots from a Eungai Rail property on Thursday. A 20-year-old man was issued with a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on July 4.
