A magnetic lock box containing MDMA, ice, Xanax and a single LSD tab along with the ex-player's DNA were allegedly found during a police raid at his Port Melbourne home in January last year.
The 55-year-old is facing three charges of drug trafficking and four counts of drug possession.
His defence lawyer Peter Matthews previously said the former star player and coach would fight the charges.
