A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged at Coffs Harbour Police Station on June 5 following an ongoing investigation related to an aggravated break and enter at a Bowraville property in October 2016 in which a man was attacked with a machete, sustaining serious wounds to his head, right arm, and lower back which required surgery.

The charges are aggravated break and enter, commit serious indictable offence and conceal serious offence. He was released on bail to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on August 7.
Alleged sexual assault
Police arrested a 23-year-old man last Thursday at a Greenhills address following investigations into the alleged sexual assault of a 19-year-old woman in Bowraville on March 9.
The man was charged at Kempsey Police Station and later released on strict bail conditions to appear before Macksville Local Court tomorrow (Thursday).
Breach of bail
On Monday night police arrested a 29-year-old woman at a Nambucca Heads address for breaching an AVO and her bail conditions.
She was charged at Macksville Police Station where she was refused bail. She appeared before Kempsey Local Court on Tuesday.
Family dispute
Police arrested a 30-year-old woman on Friday evening in Hyland Park following a family dispute that occurred earlier the same evening at a Nambucca Heads residence in which property was damaged.
The woman was released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court tomorrow (Thursday).
Accident at Way Way
Investigations are underway into an accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon on Scotts Head Rd, Way Way.
A 76-year-old man was driving in a westerly direction when he allegedly ran off the road into a ditch, which flipped the car onto its roof.
The driver was assisted from the car by a passing motorist and later taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus. The car was towed from the scene.
Wallet theft
A 31-year-old woman was issued with a Court Attendance Notice at Macksville Police Station on Friday following investigations related to the theft of a wallet from a licenced premises in Bowraville on June 12.
She will appear before Macksville Local Court on tomorrow (Thursday).
Arrest for multiple offences
Police arrested a 43-year-old man at a Nambucca Heads address early this morning. He was wanted for a number of outstanding warrants, robbery, theft, and traffic matters including a police pursuit.
He was charged at Macksville Police Station and was refused bail to appear before Kempsey Local Court at a later date.
