"If anyone has overgrown land, or is looking for a way to avoid mowing difficult areas, Troy can help clear the grass, he is an eating machine," Gina said.
"I'd like to invite Nambucca Heads landowners to get in touch. I have bought electric fencing that is solar-powered to house Troy, and I will clean up any mess.
"He's a docile boy and very friendly, nothing much worries him, the fence contains him, and I also have insurance. My number is displayed near his enclosure; people can let me know if there are any issues."
Troy's mowing services could just be the beginning for the thoroughbred horse; Gina hopes to take people back to a bygone era when people lived side by side with the animals.
"I'm interested in showcasing Troy around town, I might think about providing Sulky Rides for tourists in the future," she said.
"There are a lot of benefits to having a horse in town."
It has been a bit of a rocky road for Troy and Gina, before their battles with the council, the young horse was a racing thoroughbred that was neglected.
"Troy started as a racehorse; he won his first race, then he lost, so they got rid of him. He went to a family in Canberra, and they didn't look after him," Gina said.
"I'm grateful that I'm finally able to have him around town, he enjoys being out, and people seem to like seeing him, they always wave when they drive past."
