About 50 people, including family and friends, attended this milestone event at The Nambucca Bowling Club and together they raised $704.

Before the fun and raffles started, Patsy told the crowd she was inspired to support people affected by cancer 20 years ago when her sister received a breast cancer diagnosis.

Luckily her sister survived, as did several other friends Patsy has made over the past few decades who were also told they had breast cancer, and one of those was a man.

According to the Cancer Council, one-in-two Australians are diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85.

"We want to change that, and we need your help," implores the Cancer Council's website.

Once again The Nambucca Bowling Club supported Patsy's Biggest Morning Tea and supplied the venue, plus a delicious array of sandwiches, cakes and tea and coffee.

Family member Darryl Aldridge, also from Nambucca Heads, was a funny and lively MC and the Holiday Coast Bootscooters had toes tapping with a line dancing demonstration.

Patsy and her dance partner Eugene Martini performed an entertaining cabaret dance routine to local singing teacher Phyllis Rea-Lloyd's rendition of Hey, Big Spender.

Family members Sue Aldridge and Alecia Waters were also on hand to help Patsy make the morning a success.

Patsy intends to keep living life to the fullest.

While the official date for this year's Biggest Morning Tea was Thursday May 23, the Cancer Council encourages people to host a fundraising morning tea anytime in May or June.
