Try scorers for the hosts were D Carriage (2), S Miles, M Duckett, J Whaddy, W Baker and M Tyerman. Jack Ireland kicked three goals.
After five rounds, Macksville are equal first with Coffs Harbour in the first grade competition.
In reserve grade things were much the closer with Macksville getting the money 22-20 over Sawtell.
The Under 18s made it three from three for the men as they sank Sawtell 18-6.
In the women's League Tag, the visitors were all smiles, winning 30 to 8.
The Ea Eagles are away to the Grafton Ghosts in all four grades this Sunday.
