The Coffs Harbour Academy Ensemble, including Alex McPherson, Jenne Ngiau- Keng, Faith Spriggs , Rose Light and Felix Hughes- Chivers, presented a wonderful program of classics by Bach, Mozart, Massenet and more.
It was a heart warming concert with great appreciation from all present and a fitting way to celebrate Mother's Day.
The audience also had an opportunity to see the recent renovations to our Main Hall.
We have a small Committee of Management looking after our halls called the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre Halls Committee and over the past two years we have implemented a grant-funded project to improve facilities.
The project cost over $52,000 and has seen the installation of a new stage lighting system, new chairs, refurbishment of our timber floor and replacement of stage and hall curtains.
We now have a venue to be really proud of and the envy of even our city visitors.
The Nambucca Community and Arts Centre Halls Committee would like to thank all who have assisted in this project with particular thanks to the Nambucca Valley Arts Council and Nambucca Shire Council for the generous donation of funds towards this ambitious project.
