A 21-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital after a crash on the Pacific Highway at Eungai Creek yesterday morning.

Police said that at about 7.30am, the man was alleged to have been driving "north bound at speed when he has lost control while attempting to overtake another vehicle and collided with a barrier".
Emergency services units attended, and the young man was removed from the vehicle and taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Police are awaiting the results of mandatory blood samples.
Meanwhile, two men, aged 39 and 44, were told they would be receiving court attendance notices after police stopped their vehicle in a car park off the Pacific Highway at Nambucca Heads at about 10pm on Friday.
During a search, police seized knives and a quantity of drugs.
The 39-year-old male driver was charged with: unaccompanied learner, not display L plates, possess prescribed restricted substance, and possess knife in a public place.
The 44-year-old was charged with possess prohibited drug.
Both are to appear before Macksville Local Court on a date to be fixed.
In a separate incident that same day, at about 7.30pm, police arrested a 49-year-old man at a Nambucca Heads address after he allegedly assaulted officers who were in attendance to assist Ambulance personnel escort a patient from the home.
As police were attempting to arrest the accused, a male youth also allegedly assaulted police and hindered in the arrest of the accused man.
The young person was also arrested and both were charged at Macksville Police Station.
The 49-year-old was released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court tomorrow for the charges of: assault officer, resist officer, and possess prohibited drug. The young person was also released on bail to appear before Macksville Children's Court on May 9 on the charges of two counts of assault officer and resist or hinder officer.
Finally, just before midnight last Wednesday, police attended a Nambucca Heads address in relation to an unrelated incident. While there, police received certain information after which they found and seized two small cannabis plants and a quantity of cannabis leaf.
A 37-year-old man was subsequently told he would be receiving a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on a date to be fixed.
