A MAN has died following a three-vehicle crash at Newee Creek today, which saw Wirimbi Rd closed for several hours.

Emergency services were called to Wirrimbi Rd, near Gordons Knob Rd, at about 8.35am following reports a Mitsubishi Triton travelling west, and two Holden Rodeos travelling east, collided.
The driver and sole occupant of the Triton - a 69-year-old man - was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, however, he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The drivers and sole occupants of both Holden Rodeos - a 27-year-old woman and a 60-year-old-man - were taken to Macksville Hospital for mandatory testing.
The stretch of Wirimbi Rd has just recently had its speed limit reduced from 100kph to 80kph, and been re-sign posted.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District attended and established a crime scene.
Police are investigating whether the Triton driver suffered a medical episode prior to the collision.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
