Nambucca Heads Surf Life Saving Club is getting ready to host another public Sunday Sips, this Sunday, April 21 from 2pm to 6pm.

"We will have all the usual food, steak sandwiches, veggie burgers, sausages. For drinks we have beer, spirits and soft drinks," Nambucca Heads Surf Life Saving Club president Gary Colston said.

Aside from good food and atmosphere, this months event will also feature some special entertainment.

"Local musicians Don Marriot and John McDonald are playing from 2pm; it should be some low key acoustic music, definitely worth a listen," Mr Colston said

"Everybody is welcome to come down; you don't have to be affiliated with the club, it's a fun afternoon by the ocean, people can come down and have a bite to eat, have some drinks and socialise."

After this weekends event, the next Sunday Sips will be in May, with long term plans to hold two events every second and fourth Sunday of each month.
