About 9pm on Friday emergency services were called to the property at Eungai Creek where they found the body of an 84-year-old man.

Police have been told the man went for a walk about 5pm and his family became concerned when he failed to return. Family members then located the man's body near the entrance to the property.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
The story was first reported by the Guardian News yesterday (Monday).
A dog has since been seized by council rangers as inquiries continue.
A post mortem will be carried out this week to determine the cause of death. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
