Their first carnival of the season was in Grafton and the team came away with seven wins from as many games.
The shooters, Pippa, Hannah and Miia, managed to sink 107 goals on the day.
At the other end of the court, only 32 goals got past the impressive defence of Jemma, Paige, Grace N and Ciara.
Centre court girls Jalaara, Jess and Grace H shut down the opposition with intercepts, speed and great feeds into the goal circle.
The second carnival at Great Lakes, Forster, was another successful day for the girls who again won seven games from as many matches.
They came up against some strong competition, including Manning Valley and Hastings.
India joined the shooting circle for this carnival, and again the girls were on fire, scoring 123 goals overall.
It was a sea of pink and maroon as the opposition tried to move the ball down the court.
With all NVNA players defending strongly, turnovers were forced before the ball could enter the opposition's goal third.
This was evident in the stats with only 32 goals scored against them all day.
After winning Division 3 at State Age Championships in Sydney last year, the girls have been pushed up to Division 2 for 2019.
With two new girls entering the team this year coach Cass Notley, and manager Jo Evelyn, have been running a number of different combinations on the court and are excited to take this team to Sydney in July.
