Coordinated by Diane Banks from The Remnant Basket, 16 creative souls have allowed themselves to be inspired by this year's piece of fabric around which they have built their works.
The winners will be announced on Easter Saturday. The exhibition is open all weekend, 10am to 4pm both days, entry $5.
The exhibition itself is organised by the Verandah Post Patchworkers, a group that have long been sewing, crocheting and quilting together.
As Lorraine Squire puts it: "Quilting satisfies an artistic itch and then there is the companionship and friendship of the group."
This year there is also a special raffle with a magnificent double quilt as the first prize (see photo).
All monies raised will be donated to the Buddha's Smile School in Varanasi, India.
It offers an education to students from untouchable and refugee communities, who are segregated in urban slums and village huts.
