The fishers will cook up delicious sea mullet fillets on the barbecue - and the community is warmly invited to come along for a great day out.
The Surf Club supplies the venue and a band for sweet beats down by the beach.
OceanWatch Australia helps with organising the day, and will display photos and information to help people better understand the history of the local beach haul fishery and how it operates.

Since its establishment in 1989, OceanWatch Australia has managed and administered a broad range of successful projects to improve environmental practices, protect threatened marine species, reduce by-catch, introduce sustainable technologies, change behaviours and restore important marine habitats.
OceanWatch and the local SWR beach haul crew have had a long association, working on many projects together, ranging from scientific research on issues such as by-catch reduction, through to community extension activities.
Local fishers involved in the Loaves and Fishes are recognised through the OceanWatch Master Fisherman Program, completing responsible and sustainable fishing practices training and assessment.
The SWR Surf Club is the ideal venue for the 'Loaves and Fishes' community engagement event. The day will start at 11am at the Surf Club and run through to 3pm ... or when the fish run out. Last year's band The Ghost Road Boys will be back again this year.
The Easter egg raffle will be great, so a grab ticket. A gold coin donation is appreciated for the fish sandwich and the entertainment, with all proceeds donated to the Surf Club.
