The 50-year-old man riding the motorcycle sustained chest injuries and was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
Licence checks of the 42-year-old driver of the car revealed his licence was disqualified and he was arrested following a positive RBT.
He underwent a breath analysis at Macksville Police Station however returned a negative result. He was subsequently issued with a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on April 4 for the offences of drive disqualified and negligent driving.
Arrest for outstanding warrants
Police arrested a 29-year-old man during a RBT along the Pacific Hwy, Eungai Creek on Monday after checks revealed his licence was disqualified.
Further checks showed he also had two outstanding warrants for breaching Community Corrections Orders related to similar offences.
He was charged at Macksville Police Station where his warrants were also executed. He was released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on April 4.
Vehicle rolls into paddock
Emergency services released a woman and young child from a vehicle on March 20, after it had left the road and rolled onto its roof in a paddock.
The woman allegedly lost control on a sweeping bend on Taylors Arm Rd, Congarinni. Neither she nor the child were injured however they were taken to Coff Harbour Health Campus as a precaution. Police are awaiting mandatory blood results.
Domestic assault charges
A 59-year-old man was arrested in Coffs Harbour on March 21 following investigations related to the domestic assault of a 47-year-old woman in Nambucca Heads on February 10.
The man was charged at Coffs Harbour Police Station with four counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choke etc person without consent plus four counts of common assault.
He was released on bail to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on May 7.
