Organised by Amy Halloran, the event raised over $2000 (and counting), which is an outstanding effort from our staff and students.
While Ms Halloran didn't go to a number one, she did cut off her lovely long locks which will be donated to make a wig. Sam Bellamy also had his hair collected to be sent to be made into a wig.
Ms Halloran now has a fantastic looking bob and Sam has a bald head.

Other hair was collected and will be sent to Sustainable Salons, where it will be made into a substance which is used to clean up oil spills in waterways and compost.
So not only has money been raised to help cure cancer but the hair is also being put to good use.
NHHS would like to thank everyone who made a donation to this band of troopers. Donations can still be made until 29 March at https://bit.ly/2HDjskB.
