Driver OK after accident on Wilson Rd, Congarinni

On Sunday evening a 20-year-old is alleged to have lost control of his car along Wilson Rd, Congarinni.

The car veered off the road, hitting several trees and causing significant damage to the vehicle. The driver was taken to Macksville Hospital but later discharged.

Police are awaiting the results of mandatory blood/urine tests.

Breach of AVO

Police arrested a 41-year-old man on Sunday afternoon in Nambucca Heads for breaching an AVO.

The man was charged at Macksville Police Station and released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on May 30.


A 20-year-old man was issued an infringement notice on March 6 following a shoplifting incident at a Nambucca Heads business earlier the same afternoon.

The stolen items were recovered and returned to the business.

Unlicensed driver

Earlier the same day, police issued a 45-year-old man with a court attendance notice during a RBT at Warrell Creek.

Checks of his driver's licence confirmed it was cancelled. He was appear before Macksville Local Court on April 4.
