“We had in excess of 370 people to the three dance functions, plus a large number of locals and visitors admiring the car display on Saturday morning,” Mr Dwyer said.
There were five free events held over three days from Friday (15th) to Sunday (17th) including live music by 50s and 60s inspired rock and roll bands like The Drive-Ins, John Curtin, and Buddy Love and the Tremors; to rock and roll dancing workshops, where those who are enthusiastic about dance could learn medium-level rock and roll moves with the Let’s Dance Rock and Roll team; and not to forget the event’s first classic, muscle car and bike show, which drew the crowds.
“The car display was a new undertaking this year and was well-supported by car clubs both local and from surrounding areas.
“We had a total of 66 enthusiasts’ cars, plus seven motor cycles. An excellent number on which to build in future years,” Mr Dwyer said.
On behalf of Let’s Dance Rock and Roll Club Nambucca, Mr Dwyer would like to thank all who supported this year’s event.
