The clinic is aimed at primary school kids and will have a focus on skills, with a little bit of competition.
"Kids will learn handballing, kicking and the basic skills of the game, treasurer of the Nambucca Valley Lions Andy Johnston said.
"It has an upfront fee, and kids will get five quality Auskick sessions, a football, a pump, footy cards and this year, a major item, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker."
The program aims to introduce the game of AFL to a new generation of players and potentially spark a lifetime interest.
"Players will get a little taste of what AFL has to offer, and if they want to continue after, they can look at joining a club and play this season.
Local AFL club the Nambucca Valley Lions is also getting ready for the start of the season on April 7 with training to commence on March 6.
"Registrations are currently open for U/9 Auskick, U/11’s, U/13’s and U/15’s AFL. Everyone is welcome to join us on March 6 down at Bellwood Park for the first training session, Johnston said.
"Club members will be there to help with registrations and provide information about the upcoming season; it's a good environment to learn and make friends."
