The event saw Allan Clarke and Steve Ash score 39 points. Allan eventually won on a countback with 22 points over the back nine, while Steve was the runner up, scoring 21 points on the back nine. Clive Friedman took out the front nine trophy with Shane O'Neill winning the back nine.
Nearest the pins on the 4/13th went to Michael Simpson in A grade. In the B grade, it was Paul Donges, and Steve Hosking won the C Grade. Other nearest the pins shots went to Michael Manning in A grade, B Grade had Greg Zirkler, and unfortunately, no C Grader hit their target this time.
Next weeks event is a two-man Ambrose sponsored by Master Hire.
The Macksville golf course features a unique 10 hole course with 18 alternating tees and weekly golf events.
On Mondays, there is a 13 hole competition with a 7:30 am start and a $2 entry fee. Tuesdays have a ladies 18 hole golf competition that starts at 9 am and has a $15 entry fee.
Thursday is a big day with a 13 hole mixed beginners/hackers competition that carries a $3 fee, plus an extra green fee for non-members. On the same day, there is an 18 hole single Stableford open to everyone; it carries a $15 entry fee.
Friday is a social golf day; everyone is welcome to come down and play.
