The Festival offers over 40 opportunities for older people to participate in the arts through exhibitions, performances, dance, workshops, discussion groups, networking and sharing of experiences and information … with local events in Bowraville, Nambucca and Macksville.
The full Festival program can be found online at
While the Festival showcases many events over a two week period we recognise that being or staying creative as you age is not just something for two weeks a year.
Our Creative Ageing website provides information on over 100 clubs and opportunities to assist those who wish to age creatively, whatever their interest, whatever time of the year.
Arts Mid North Coast is also using the Festival to launch its 15 th Cultural Trail which will be of value among others to many older residents and visitors.
The Inclusive Arts Trail revisits a number of experiences of the Mid North Coast that are already included in our Cultural Trails but highlights those services that distinguish them as inclusive.
It focuses on services that provide for the ageing population, people who use wheelchairs, children, people with temporary mobility limitations, people with prams, and people with hearing or vision impairments.
