The movie stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard and Nicole Kidman.
Arthur Curry (Momoa) learns he is a half human and half from Atlantis, who finds out he is the heir to the underwater kingdom.
To for fill his destiny, and save his family and people, he must go on the adventure of a life time and fight for his crown.
In the beginning, we learn Arthurs mother (Altanna) rebels against Atlantis and falls in love with a man of the land, leading to the birth of Aquaman.
Arthur Curry is coming known and named Aquaman because of his abnormally strong and supernatural ability and control over the water.
Aquaman has the ability to breathe underwater and possesses a superhuman physique strong enough to withstand attacks from superhuman opponents.
The Princess of Atlantis, Mera, becomes Arthurs side kick after she rebelled against Atlantis while rescuing Arthur from defeat and death.
Throughout the movie, Arthur rivals with the Ocean Master from Atlantis, and other enemy from his past – all while searching for Atlantis and the Atlantis true kings trident.
The movie was directed by James Wan and he did an amazing and very coherent job. The films charm, simplicity saved the day, as opposed to the dark and deep stories that have been made recently.
Overall, my favourite parts of the movie were the graphic effects, the development of the characters and above all – the music!
