As always, staff recommend you allow plenty of time before the movie starts to buy your ticket and candy bar.
And a little Christmas time hint – check the legend on the program (and online) to see if it is in the small cinema. And if it is, best to buy your ticket early!
Boxing Day
- Wreck it Ralph
Wreck it Ralph is an animated adventure comedy where Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) discover a wi-fi router in their arcade and make their way through the internet, where they discover a multitude of new friends, including Disney princesses such as Merida (Kelly Macdonald), Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), Moana (Auli’i Cravalho), Mulan (Ming-Na Wen), Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel).
- Aquaman
Aquaman is an adventure, action, comedy – and most importantly, stars our dear friend Jason Momoa. Arthur Curry (Momoa) discovers that he is the heir to the legendary underwater kingdom of Atlantis and is to be crowned King of the Seven Seas.
As King he must do whatever is necessary to save his world and lead his people.
- Holmes and Watson
Holmes and Watson is a humorous take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic mysteries featuring Sherlock Holmes (Will Ferrell) and Doctor Watson (John C. Reilly).
New Year’s Day
- Mary Poppings
Mary Poppings is as always, a family musical.
In Depression-era London, a now-grown Jane and Michael Banks, along with Michael’s three children, are visited by the enigmatic Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) following a personal loss.
Through her unique magical skills, and with the aid of her friend Jack, she helps the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives.
- How to Train your Dragon: Hiccup
And saving the most anticipated for last: How to Train your Dragon: Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) and Toothless finally discover their true destinies: the village chief as ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, and the dragon as leader of his own kind.
As both ascend, the darkest threat they’ve yet faced—as well as the appearance of a female Night Fury dragon—will test the bonds of their relationship like never before.
