The crop of 2018 has done well with Noah Griffiths, Aedon Hudson and Molly Langley all scoring Band 6s. The boys for their musical efforts and Molly in Business Studies and CAFS (Society and Culture).
Kian Coggan, Isabella Johnston, Jeremy Salter gained Band 5s in music, Gabi Hall in biology, Georgia Hoffman in entertainment and Molly Langley for English, Legal Studies and Maths.
There were also 36 Band 4s.
Isabella said her good results were satisfying but she had already found her niche, with a Certificate Three in Early Childhood Care and a job and the Teddy Bears Kindergarten.
“I’m absolutely loving it – it’s what I’ve always wanted to do,” Isabella said.
Georgia Hoffman is also not interested in university – she has signed up to join the Navy and will start training in January.
And Gabi Hall’s results have got her what she wants – a place at Charles Sturt University, Port Macquarie, to study Medical Radiation.
“I’ve always been interested in medical science … maybe eventually I’ll study medicine, but not yet – this is a good start,” Gabi said.
Molly’s plans: Scholarship to Vancouver conference
Principal Simon McKinney said the results overall were a great outcome for a great bunch of kids going out into the world.
