CRAIG Marsay of Nambucca Glass and Aluminium sponsored the Robyn Marsay Memorial stroke round for the monthly medal and spoon at Macksville Golf Course on Saturday. Robyn was a life-long supporter of the Country Club.

Saturday's event was also the play-off for the yearly Medal of Medals and Spoon of Spoons.

Steve Ellis played a brilliant round to return a three over par round of 75 for a nett 64 to take out the monthly medal. Allan Clarke again returned the best gross score of the day to take out the monthly spoon.

The yearly play-off for Medal of Medals was won by Shane Langley in a three-way countback. Allan Clarke won the yearly Spoon of Spoons.

Grade winners on Saturday: A Grade Steve Ellis, B Grade Rod Curtis and Ron Trimble is in rare form with his new knees to take out C Grade.

Allan Clarke won the Don nine prize with Max Graham taking out the back nine.

Nearest the pin shots on the 4th/13th went to A Grade Max Graham (also took out the $30 voucher), and Tony Henshaw took out the C Grade.

This Saturday's event is a single stableford sponsored by Macksville Automotive Services.

Sunday will be the annual Macksville Open Day sponsored by Barry McDonald with $1000 worth of trophies. To book, call 6568-1400.
