The Member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey MP, said the centers will make it easier for customers and businesses to access more than 1,000 NSW Government transactions.
“Service NSW provides access to more than 1,000 NSW Government transactions which matter to peoples’ lives,” the Member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey, said at the opening on Friday.
“Whether it’s their first vehicle registration, a Seniors Card or a plethora of other requirements … but digital innovation also means Service NSW can deliver most of its services anywhere you have the internet.
“Service NSW is also a gateway to government savings and incentives which will help ease the cost of living, including CTP refunds, Active Kids and Energy Switch.”
The service now includes what were previously around 40 different agencies, making it a more efficient and effective experience.
For Nambucca Heads residents Paul and Marg Orman the new office means they can finally complete some paperwork to get a fishing licence.
“I’ve been waiting months to sort this … now we can go fishing!” Paul said.
Mrs Pavey said the Nambucca Heads office would cater to locals’ needs now and in the future.
“Members of the community are encouraged to come for a visit, meet the Service NSW team, and learn about what this new service has to offer.”
Nambucca Heads Service Centre is located at Shop 3A in Nambucca Plaza and is open from 9am to 4pm weekdays.
