Ladies from Kempsey, Bonville-Boambee and Nambucca-Macksville Evening VIEW Clubs came along too showing how other VIEW Clubs support each other, which is really lovely.
The day was filled with lots of fun and friendship, presentations of a new members badge and a 20-year service badge and even a new membership on the day.
The ladies have a million dollar view at the Nambucca Heads RSL Club, which is always admired by all in attendance. The Xmas lunch had all the tasty trimmings, including a beautiful festive decorated room and tables. A big thanks to the management and staff for their continued support throughout the year.
The gathering was superbly entertained by beautiful voices from the Nambucca Valley Christian School singing a medley of songs and Xmas carols, it’s was wonderful to have a gathering across the generations of girls and ladies from the Nambucca Valley.
Lucky Raffle winners were drawn at the luncheon, first prize, a beautiful patchwork quilt made and donated by The Verandah Patchworkers Wednesday Ladies group, was won by Cynthia Guyenette. Second prize $50 gift voucher donated by Woolworths Nambucca Heads was won by Janice Wilson; and third prize, a Hamper donated by MacNuts, Macksville, was won by Karly Lane.
A huge thank you for those generous donations, the funds raised will go towards the 2019 fees for our two sponsored students and lastly a big thank you to the community who supported this raffle with ticket sales in Bowra Street, Nambucca Heads.
Over the last 12 months the club has increased its membership, with more ladies pledged to join in 2019, which is wonderful knowing the Nambucca River VIEW Club can continue their valuable 43 years heritage of support for The Smith Family.
