The break-in happened some time between 1.30 and 2am and there were no signs of forced entry according to police.
Her handbag with wallet and identification was taken, as was some jewellery with high sentimental value.
Two more Macksville businesses were also targeted last night.
There was an attempted break-in at Rose’s Cafe on River St. Those involved tried to force their way through the back door but were unsuccessful.
But they were successful in getting into nearby Elwood Upholstery, which has been the target of multiple break-ins this year already.
A cash drawer was taken from Elwood, but thankfully there was no money inside it.
