McGrath Estate Agents today announced the opening of a new office in Nambucca Heads, further strengthening its presence on the Mid North Coast.
McGrath Nambucca Heads will be led by Principal Martin Wells, and this expansion will be the third office in the region and this will complement the Coffs Harbour and Sawtell offices Mr Wells opened in 2015.
“Nambucca Heads offers a desirable coastal lifestyle that is affordable to many. The area presents value and opportunity allowing first home buyers and investors to get a great start in the property market,” McGrath founder and Executive Director John McGrath said.
Mr Wells aligned himself with McGrath due to their shared business values, leading resources, and commitment to excellence and growth.
“We joined McGrath Estate Agents three years ago to give our clients and our staff access to the best opportunities in service, results, coaching and training. Ultimately, the McGrath brand and the values it holds true were the ideal fit for our business and teams and we believe its been a great partnership,” he said.
McGrath Nambucca Heads will service the area from Valla Beach in the north, to Scotts Head in the south, and westward to the edge of Bowraville, and will focus on the key suburbs of Nambucca Heads, Hyland Park, Valla Beach, Valla, Macksville, North Macksville, Scotts Head, and Bowraville.
From a real estate agent’s point of view, setting up camp in Nambucca is a no-brainer: The area is becoming increasingly popular to buyers due to its location, lifestyle and relatively affordable average house price of $378,000 according to CoreLogic.
Located midway between Sydney and Brisbane, the hustle and bustle of the city seems a million miles away when you exit the Pacific Highway and head into Nambucca Heads.
The area still offers a variety of choice in terms of property and pricepoints, with options ranging from free-standing homes of 3 or 4-bedroom designs to premium waterfront and ocean-view homes.
A broad base of rental listings are available in the Nambucca Valley with average weekly of $350 per week offering an average of 4.8 per cent rental yield compared to a national average of 4.2 per cent.
“There is a healthy mix of property types, ocean views, and price points – this area offers something for everyone,” Mr Wells said.
“The nearby Rotary Lookout serves unbridled panoramic views of the Nambucca River mouth and the incredible coastline while the Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club may be the only golf course in the world completely surrounded by water.”
As part of this expansion, Mr Wells has acquired Bradleys Real Estate an independent real estate office which has been operating for 35 years, serving the Nambucca Valley.
Bringing Bradleys Real Estate into the McGrath family opens up new levels of property-related services to the Nambucca Valley.
“The current owners of Bradley’s are retiring and their decision to choose McGrath to be the business to take over their current client base is something we are humbled by. We look forward to doing amazing work and achieving unseen results for them and the community of the Nambucca Valley,” Mr Wells said.
There will be three to four sales agents in the McGrath Nambucca Heads office.
McGrath Nambucca Heads will offer Property Management services and will have a strong rent roll of 200 properties.
The new McGrath office will also offer mortgage broking services through Oxygen Home Loans.
The new office is located at 2/41 Bowra Street, Nambucca Heads. Phone: (02) 6568 6599.
