Brian Turner got up early to record a great score of 40 points that turned out to be good enough to hold on all day to secure the tournament.
Runner-up on the day was Brad Fortescue.
Front nine winner was another early starter in Tony Adams with 21 points but he struggled over the back nine. Steve Ellis recovered from an average front nine to take out the back nine.

Other nearest the pins went to: A Grade Allan Clarke, B Grade Rod Curtis and again no C Grader hit their target.
This Saturday's event is one of the biggest of the year with the Binnalong Promotional Clothing sponsored three man ambrose event.
There's a few spots still open for the 7am and 10.30am shotgun starts so anyone interested should contact the club on 6568-1400 to book a time or just turn up to the club at 10am and there's usually teams needing players.
