The loveable LWB artists are excited to put their creativity on show from October 27 at the Federal Hotel in Bellingen with the auction on Saturday, November 3.
Coordinator, Kerry Lampe initiated the hugely successful program giving artists this creative outlet in 2005.
Six artists have stayed involved. Not only do they gain satisfaction from creating and exhibiting artwork, but also from receiving financial remuneration from the sale of their works with 60 per cent to the artists and 40 per cent going back into the program.
This worthwhile program requires continued support from us all to ensure it can continue.
The collection this year includes papier mache sculpture and glass mosaics as well as mixed media paintings and collage.
And here’s a reminder of last year’s offerings.
The unique paintings are produced through drawing and painting exercises facilitated by Susie Peake, Nelli Gallop and Tanya McQuinn. They are then framed using recycled materials and ready to go on show from October 27.
On Saturday, November 3 from 2.30pm the fabulous Lucy’s Sky will set the mood for the viewing before auctioneer Guy Saddleton takes the mic at 3.30 to get those bids going.
Having done so every year so far, Guy is absolutely the best at ensuring the afternoon is filled with fun and excitement for the artists, their friends, family, art collectors and followers who attend. Why don’t you join us!
