The announcement of a further $342,266 injection of State Government funds will see the fulfilment of the Phillip Hughes Oval’s master plan, ensuring the facility will be a sought after venue for games in the future.
The Member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey, said the funding had been approved under the Stronger Country Communities Fund, Round Two in a partnership with Nambucca Shire Council.
“On behalf of the Nambucca community, I thank Council for putting these projects forward,” Mrs Pavey said.
“It is very pleasing to see that work come to fruition and it will be exciting to see these major works get underway. Equally, I’m sure the community will also very much appreciate the lasting benefits of this project when it is completed.”
