THREE riders from the Nambucca River District Pony Club attended the 2018 NSW State Showjumping and Jumping Equitation Championships at Morisset Showground.

Jarrah Goldrick, Mallee Goldrick, and Tayla Chapman demonstrated diligence, courage and a disciplined approach in their individual performances for the duration of the Championships.
Jarrah Goldrick rode her mare, Little Miss Muppet, competently in the Under 13 C Grade. The duo placed seventh in the Am5 on day one, fourth in the Am5 on day two and 11th in the Single Accumulator.
Mallee Goldrick and her mount, Blue Jean Baby, competed in the Under 17 Open Championships. They performed admirably on day one, placing third in the Am5 and 11th in the Grand Prix. The fine form continued on day two with third place in the Am5 and eighth in the Single Accumulator.
Mallee is to be commended on achieving fifth overall and to be selected as a member of the Champion Zone for Open A Grade.
Tayla Chapman and her horse, Clairvale Tiger Fibbs, produced consistent and polished show jumping rounds in the Under 25 B Grade. The pair achieved first place in the Am5 on day one, fifth in the Grand Prix, fourth in the Am5 on day two and first in the Single Accumulator.
Tayla also performed well in the State Equitation Championship Open Under 25 Class, placing seventh in Class 2 and gaining 15th position overall after four competitions.
Nambucca District Pony Club would like to congratulate these girls on their professionalism and exemplary sportsmanship in representing Zone 9 on a State level. The club also wishes Mallee Goldrick every success in the Area 3 Showjumping Championships in Casino. Area 3 includes Zones 8, 9, 13 and 15.
The Nambucca River District Pony Club was established in 1957 and celebrated its 50th year as a club in 2007.
A family oriented club, it encourages young people to ride and learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding.
