Remember to move your clock ahead one hour when you go to bed on Saturday night … and find yourself running late for the next week!
The extra hour of daylight will continue until Sunday, April 7, 2019.
Lower energy consumption is one of the benefits of daylight saving, which is a boon as we all watch our electricity bills rising.
Apparently accident rates also drop during daylight saving time because people are less likely to be driving home in the dark.
Hmm … seems a bit dodgy to me.
Personally, being a morning person I will miss my extra hour of cool and quiet with the birds before the heat of the day kicks in.
And I do always feel sorry for dairy farmers and their poor milk-heavy cows – the adjustment for them must be less than comfortable.
