He was wanted on outstanding warrants and police said he was also a suspect after they seized stolen property and a prohibited weapon from a residence in Nambucca Heads late last month.
He was charged at Macksville Police Station and was refused bail. He appeared before Kempsey Local Court yesterday.
Speeding motorcyclist
A 61-year-old motorcyclist was arrested on Tuesday morning after a police pursuit near Scotts Head.
Police said the man was detected travelling at excessive speed along Scotts Head Rd at around 9.30am.
The motorcyclist was stopped near the intersection of Giinagay Way and arrested. He was charged at Macksville Police Station and is to appear before Macksville Local Court on September 20.
Collision with parked trailer
An 18-year-old man was arrested after allegedly crashing into a parked trailer on River St, Macksville, on Sunday night.
Police said the man was breathalysed at Macksville Station and returned a positive result of 0.105.
His licence was suspended and he will appear before Macksville Local Court on September 20.
B-Double driver loses control on highway
Emergency Services were alerted to a B-Double truck that had lost control and come to a stop in the median strip just before Cow Creek Bridge on the Pacific Highway last Thursday at around 2am.
The 38-year-old male driver injured his knee during the incident and was taken by ambulance to Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
Enquiries are continuing.
