The jewellery was discovered on June 30, in a house on Sussex St, Nambucca Heads.
The stolen hoard contains around 30 individual pieces including a range of rings – possibly some wedding and engagement bands – watches, gold chains – some with opal and moonstone pendants – brooches and an old stop watch.
Many of the pieces are unique and will be recognisable to their owners.
