And today was no different as Roberts Nambucca Real Estate held their annual Daffodil Day fundraiser.
More than $6000 was raised on Bowra St today to help find cures for cancer.
And $400 was raised during last Friday’s 100s Club at the Nambucca Bowlo.
Out of the 16 tubs of fresh-cut blooms in front of the Bowra St office, only two were remaining by 1.30pm.
“Normally we have stacks spare, but this year the daffodils have been selling like crazy,” Adam Jones said.
Over 40 prizes were donated by local businesses for the ever-popular mega raffle, with many coming in at the last second.
And with the help of the Nashos, nearly 300 snags were served up.
With less staff this year to drum up hype for the day, the team are very pleased with the level of backing the community has shown for the fundraiser.
“I’d like to thank Trisleys for once again being our major sponsor, the Nashos for their help on the barbie, and the locals for their continuing support,” Pam Pearse said.
