We Give Two Hoots is a way for the local community to initiate and fund projects that enhance the health and wellbeing, skill development and/or employability of young people across the Valley.

All donations to the platform are tax deductible due to the Youth Services’ registered charity status.

“Local people or organisations with skills to offer can submit project ideas through the Pitch Your Project section of the website,” coordinator Toby Frost said.

“This approach is a genuine effort to keep the project activity fresh and relevant – funds raised through the website will be allocated directly into projects for young people.”

The launch will be held at the Youthie, Ridge St, Nambucca Heads from 3 to 5pm and will include entertainment from Youth Voice project participants, as well as presentations from recent Pitch Your Project finalists Ash Johnston (Open Studio artist) and Joel Grimson (Joelism music DJ).

Light refreshments will be available thanks to Nambucca Heads Uniting Church and Opportunity Shop.

Donations can be made directly through the website or at the Commonwealth Bank. Sponsorship opportunities are available for local businesses and service organisations.
