For its part, well-known shire accounting firm, 360 Financial Advantage (360FA), is planning a charity golf and bowls day on Sunday, September 16 at the Macksville Country Club to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute.
The Black Dog Institute is a not-for-profit organisation set up to help with the treatment and prevention of mood disorders and mental health issues which unfortunately are now so prevalent in our society.
As a member of a group called CountPlus, 360FA has access to the Count Charitable Foundation (CCF).
This foundation was set up by Count and receives donated funds from 360FA staff (and many other companies) on a monthly basis.
Member companies can then apply for funding for charities of their choice.
360FA has been working hard towards its goal of raising $10,000 for the Black Dog Institute, and has already been rewarded with a $10,000 commitment by CCF.
Funds raised at the event will also be donated to the Institute.
The day itself:
GOLF will be a four-ball ambrose, nine holes with a shotgun start, $60 per team or $15 individuals (includes a sausage sandwich).
BOWLS will be triples (bowls available for hire at the club), $30 per team or $10 individual (includes a sausage sandwich).
How to get involved:
Registration is at 8am for 9am start.
Nomination forms are available at the Macksville Country Club, as well as 360 Financial Advantage offices, 35 Princess St, Macksville, 8 Dalley Street, Coffs Harbour or 147 Gordon Street, Port Macquarie.

* Over the last two years 360FA has raised over $5500 for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, helped Port Macquaries’s community radio station Rhema 99.9, as well as Oz Harvest, the local Surf Club and further $6,000 for Headspace in Coffs Harbour.
In total this year the company has distributed $15,000 and will continue to do so every year, thanks to staff donations, often via payroll deduction.
