The Valla mum of three will head to Melbourne at the end of the month to pitch her brand and answer questions in front of a panel of judges on August 30 and the winners will be announced at a glamorous awards dinner at White Night Reception in Melbourne on August 31.
“I'm excited, but feeling fairly nervous too,” Bev said.
“I'm really looking forward to networking with other mumpreneurs at the workshops and conferences and I'm excited to glam up for the awards night in Melbourne. But I'm extremely nervous too, I've never had to answer questions or pitch my brand in front of a panel of judges before.”
For Bev, making the finalist list has helped reinforce her confidence in building a business on the back of her passions.
“Working from home can be very isolating and I often feel as though I don't have a 'proper' job, so being selected as a finalist means my hard work as a business woman and mother is being recognised,” Bev said.

After round one of voting from the public, Bev also made it through as a finalist for the People’s Choice 'Influencer Award'.
Although Bev doesn’t consider herself to be like the majority of social media/online influencers of today, she said it felt really nice to make the finalists – and to be recognised alongside some of the heavy weights of the social media world.
“Through my journey of raising my boys and creating my brand, I hope to inspire other women to go after their dreams or pursue their passion,” Bev said.
“Whether it be a little side project, hobby or just motivation to live a more simplified easy-going lifestyle.”
Round two of voting runs until Sunday, August 19. You can vote for Bev here. Select ‘Category 4’ under 'Influencer Award'.
Bev will be busily preparing for workshops and conferences for her question time with the Ausmumpreneur Awards judges and then she will be joined by husband Brenton for the glamour of the awards night on August 31 – now it’s just a matter of finding the perfect dress!
