Stuarts Point will be a hub of fun and activity.
Friday events:
At 9.30am on Friday, the Small Schools Spectacular begins, involving students from Stuarts Point, Scotts Head, Eungai and Medlow in the Festival Games Pentathlon, sponsored by Dymocks and Arapala Macadamia Farms.
The official opening of the Festival and the Art Exhibition is at the Stuarts Point Community Hall at 6pm, Friday.
Festival matriarchs Nicky Smith and Elaine Coleman will officiate, with the Yarriabini Choir and Stef Edwards providing the musical interlude.
Tickets are $10 at the door including refreshments. The art exhibition will be open all weekend for a gold coin entry fee.
Saturday events:
Saturday is a day of non-stop activity. The markets will be open from 8am; a welcome parade will arrive at the festival precinct, and there will be more than 40 stalls selling everything from duck curry to dog coats.
For the kids, there’ll be magic performances by Troppo Bob, a jumping castle, and face painting.
The pet show will be a highlight and you can vote for your favourite photo in the festival photography competition.
Just before noon, gather at the river for the dog and owner swim.
From 10am the riverside will be rocking as Stuarts Point Friendly Grocer presents Music by the River until 5.30pm.

Entry to the festival is just $2 and children are free.
