On August 18 and 19 hundreds of potters and ceramic artists all over Australia will open their ceramic studio to the public.
This national event is hosted by the Australian Ceramics Association and provides an opportunity for people to step inside the creative spaces of those, who's hands are always closely connected to the earth.
Here in the Nambucca Valley award winning ceramicist Michaela Kloeckner of Nambucca's Pole House Pottery is inviting visitors to relax in the courtyard with a complimentary cuppa and watch demonstrations and play with clay from 10 am to 4 pm daily.
Her unusual work was recently selected for the current Townsville Ceramic Art Award.
Join her for some muddy fun, free-of-charge, at
10 Newman St, Nambucca Heads.
